Poland Spring has an enviable reputation among US water brands. Not only is it 100% natural spring water (no tap here), it’s also one of the oldest bottled waters in North America.

But to get the attention of a younger audience, a brand needs to be more than just natural and nostalgic - it also has to be novel. This was the challenge facing Poland Spring Sparkling - the ‘fun cousin’ in the portfolio. Ocean was briefed to create new packaging for Sparkling that would engage with both Millenials and Gen Z, while remaining true to its roots.

SPRING WATER WITH BUBBLY PERSONALITY

To stand out in a loud category we knew our design would have to be bold and colourful. But the question was - how could that colour be distinctive and ownable? The answer: make it iconic. Each pack design features Pop Art inspired flavour illustrations stamped with the famous Poland Spring badge. Classic credentials with a sparkling postmodern vibe.
